A new year, a new you!
But what does that actually mean?
Start by being who you are. You are awesome!
Stop! Listen! Be yourself!
When setting your health goals for this year, remember to aim for SMART goals.
Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Relevant
Time-based
Having regular chiropractic adjustments is a terrific start to a healthy 2020. This is certainly a SMART goal.
To help you decide on other healthy SMART goals, look at the health triad. Answer the questions under each heading (as a guide) or write your own thoughts down. Use these notes to write your healthy SMART goals.
PHYSICAL
Are you moving for your health every day? How are your energy levels? Your endurance? Or stamina? What is your ergonomics at home/work like? Are you in a healthy weight range? Are you doing your daily postural exercises? Do you need to wear red lenses? Do you need to wear ear plugs to bed?
CHEMICAL
How is your gut health? Do you know the foods that cause your body’s inflammation? Do you need to take a supplement? What are your hormones doing? What is the quality of the air you breathe? Or the quality of the water you drink? When was your medication last reviewed? What toxins are you exposed to at home/work?
EMOTIONAL
How do you handle stress? Do you have clear boundaries? What’s your self-talk like? Do you need lifestyle-support? Have you enquired about meditation? How are your coping skills? Are you being kind to yourself?
To inspire others to be at their peak optimal health, so must you be!
Start today! Make this year matter!
